Bhagat Singh was an Indian Socialist considered to be one of the most influential revolutionaries of the Indian Independence Movement. He organized the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association. Bhagat Singh, a Sandhu Jat was born on 28 September 1907 to Kishan Singh and Vidyavati at chak no. 105,GB,Banga village,Jaranwala Tehsil in the Lyall pur district of the Punjab Province of British India in a Sikh family. His birth coincided with the release from jail of his father and 2 uncles, Ajit Singh and Swaran Singh.Bhagat Singh with Raju Guru and Sukhdev hanged in the early hours of 23 March 1931 in Lahore,Punjab,British India.
